Adam Harrison - The Son of Bigfoot

I recently watched "The Son of Bigfoot" and liked it a lot! So much, in fact, that I decided to recreate the main character 'Adam Harrison'.

I really like the way this character looks, and wanted to challenge myself to see how well I could recreate him. After about 4 days of sculpting, combing, texture painting and lighting, and a whopping 38 iterations later (I won't show all of them, lol), this is my final result.

I am pretty happy with how this turned out. It's by far not perfect, but I did learn a lot of new techniques in the process of making this. After all, it was a lot of fun to do too!

Sometime in the future, I am planning to recreate this character completely from scratch. I made the mistake to look at just 1 reference image troughout pretty much the entire sculpt, and considering that reference image looks actually rather different the movie version, my sculpt does too. I unfortunately realized this a bit too late, however for now I will be happy with what I got now.

I want to thank Jeannot Landry for sending me in the right direction with the hair. I reached out to him after seeing some really impressive hair combing and simulations, and I am not disappointed with the help I got! At the moment of writing, he is working on a course about making realistic hair, which will definitely be interesting to look out for to futher improve a future version of this character.
